Gather is a social calendar app built to help you plan time with the people you care about, without the pressure of an overfull week. This page explains what information Gather collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, Gather collects:
As you use the app, Gather stores the content you create, including:
Gather does not collect your device's location. Any location shown on an event is text you typed in yourself.
We use your information solely to provide Gather's core features: showing your calendar, sharing the parts of it you choose with friends, sending event invites, and gently helping you notice when your week is fuller than you'd like.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Gather uses a small number of service providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
Beyond these service providers, your information is only shared with other Gather users according to the privacy settings you choose for each friend and event.
Gather is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
